Dishonouring God Has Eternal Consequences | Soma – Hebrews 10:26 -31

There is a warning in Scripture that no sincere believer can afford to ignore. Hebrews 10:26-31 delivers some of the most sobering words in the New Testament. After receiving the knowledge of the truth, if we deliberately continue in sin, no sacrifice for sins remains, only a fearful expectation of judgment. This isn’t about stumbling or struggling; it’s about willfully trampling the Son of God underfoot, treating His covenant blood as common, and insulting the Spirit of grace. Such dishonouring of God carries eternal weight. The writer reminds us: the Lord will judge His people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. This passage doesn’t undermine grace, it defines its boundaries, calling us to sober reverence before the God who is both merciful and just.
