Hebrews 11:11-12 takes us to one of the most unlikely miracles in Scripture: a barren woman past childbearing age, giving birth to a nation. Sarah didn’t just receive ability to conceive; she received the fulfillment of a promise that required her to believe God was faithful, even when her own body said otherwise. The writer tells us she considered Him faithful who had promised. Not her circumstances. Not her age. Not her history. God’s faithfulness became the foundation of her faith. And from that one faithful act, descendants as numerous as the stars and countless as the sand came forth. One promise. One faithful God. One impossible situation transformed.
