Legalism: Why Do Christians Judge Haircuts and Clothing?

Why does legalism feel so right… but is actually deadly wrong? Have you ever been judged at church for what you wore? Or for a haircut? A young girl was criticized for wearing ripped jeans to church. A man was whispered about because of a sports logo cut into his hair. These aren’t rare stories, they’re everyday examples of legalism hiding in plain sight.

So why do Christians judge things like haircuts and clothing? The Pharisees did this constantly. They added rules like about washing hands, cups, and dining couches . This podcast is NOT against godly standards or holiness. It IS against adding extra-biblical rules and judging others as “less Christian” for not following them.
